The role requires performing scheduled and emergency repairs, following all safety procedures, and maintaining detailed maintenance documentation. Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems, pipefitting, rigging, and crane operation is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Mechanical troubleshooting, hydraulic systems maintenance, and preventive/corrective maintenance.
• Pipefitting and pressure systems.
• Rigging and equipment installation; bearing/shaft/gearbox maintenance.
• Blueprint and schematic interpretation; crane and mobile equipment operation; safety and hazardous waste handling.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, install, adjust, and maintain mechanical and hydraulic equipment to ensure safe and reliable plant operations while minimizing downtime.
• Follow safety procedures and complete required maintenance documentation and reports.
• Operate maintenance tools and equipment and manage hazardous waste per company procedures.
• Lead or support maintenance crews as needed and respond to emergency breakdowns.

Primary Purpose

Inspect, repair, install, adjust, and maintain mechanical and hydraulic equipment to ensure safe and reliable plant operations while minimizing production downtime.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and emergency maintenance repairs.Inspect equipment for:
  • Wear and damageMisalignmentLubrication issuesHydraulic system problems
  Troubleshoot equipment failures and determine appropriate corrective actions.Repair, replace, install, and maintain:
  • PumpsCylindersValvesRegulatorsBearingsShaftsMechanical drive systems
  Repair hydraulic leaks and replace damaged piping.Install, maintain, and repair piping systems and pressure systems.Perform maintenance on cranes and mobile equipment.Set up and adjust equipment to meet production requirements.Operate maintenance tools and equipment, including drill presses, grinders, pipe-threading machines, power saws, and rigging equipment.Work independently or lead/support maintenance crews.Complete required maintenance documentation and reports.Follow all safety procedures and maintain housekeeping standards.Operate mobile equipment and E.O.T. (Electric Overhead Traveling) cranes as required.Manage hazardous waste in accordance with company procedures.
