Qualifications

• Proficient in mechanical troubleshooting and hydraulic system maintenance.
• Experience with preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics; interpret mechanical drawings.
• Familiar with crane and mobile equipment operation.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and emergency maintenance repairs.
• Inspect equipment for wear, misalignment, lubrication, and hydraulic issues.
• Troubleshoot failures and determine corrective actions.
• Repair, replace, install, and maintain pumps, cylinders, valves, bearings, and shafts.
• Install and maintain piping systems and pressure systems; repair hydraulic leaks.
• Operate cranes and other hoisting equipment; manage hazardous waste per procedures.

Primary Purpose

Inspect, repair, install, adjust, and maintain mechanical and hydraulic equipment to ensure safe and reliable plant operations while minimizing production downtime.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and emergency maintenance repairs.
• Inspect equipment for:
• Wear and damageMisalignmentLubrication issuesHydraulic system problems
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and determine appropriate corrective actions.
• Repair, replace, install, and maintain:
• PumpsCylindersValvesRegulatorsBearingsShaftsMechanical drive systems
• Repair hydraulic leaks and replace damaged piping.
• Install, maintain, and repair piping systems and pressure systems.
• Perform maintenance on cranes and mobile equipment.
• Set up and adjust equipment to meet production requirements.
• Operate maintenance tools and equipment, including drill presses, grinders, pipe-threading machines, power saws, and rigging equipment.
• Work independently or lead/support maintenance crews.
• Complete required maintenance documentation and reports.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain housekeeping standards.
• Operate mobile equipment and E.O.T. (Electric Overhead Traveling) cranes as required.
• Manage hazardous waste in accordance with company procedures.
