Job summary
Allweather Wood Company is seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic / Millwright to join our maintenance team in Woods Cross, Utah. The role focuses on installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing sawmill machinery to keep production running safely and efficiently.
The position requires hands-on experience with conveyors, motors, hydraulic systems, and related equipment. We offer comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance and a 401K match.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Three years related experience and/or training.
- Wood handling/manufacturing experience a plus.
- Valid driver's license and ability to operate company vehicles.
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules and maintenance manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair machinery and equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance on vehicles and equipment.
- Inspect, assemble, and align mechanical systems.
- Dismantle defective machines and install repaired parts.
- Operate machine tools to repair or fabricate parts.
- Follow safety rules and policies.
