Job summary

ITAC in United States is seeking an Iron Worker to erect and install structural steel per blueprints, perform welding, and operate cranes and lifts on construction sites. You will read blueprints, fabricate and cut steel components, and ensure safety and quality across projects.

The role requires at least 3 years of iron work experience, strong knowledge of steel components, and the ability to work at heights in varying weather. Excellent teamwork and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of Iron Worker experience.
• Strong knowledge of structural steel components and installation.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Experience operating cranes and aerial lifts.
• Excellent welding and bolt-up skills.
• Familiarity with safety regulations in construction.
• Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving.
• Effective communication and teamwork.
• Background and drug test clearance.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Iron Worker in the construction industry
• Strong knowledge of structural steel components and their installation processes
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Demonstrated ability to safely operate cranes, aerial lifts, and other construction equipment
• Excellent welding and bolt-up skills
• Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and best practices in the construction industry
• Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities
• Be able to pass background and drug test

The typical hourly rate for this position is $38.00 to $39.00 based on experience
