Job summary

ITAC is seeking an experienced Pipe Welder to join our construction team in the Norfolk area. Read blueprints, weld carbon and stainless steel pipe, and fabricate fittings to project specs while maintaining safety and quality.

Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience, proficiency in SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, FCAW, and the ability to read specifications. We offer long-term work, competitive pay, benefits, and a culture that values teamwork and craftsmanship.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Pipe Welder in construction or similar setting.
• Strong knowledge and experience in carbon steel and stainless steel pipe welding.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and specifications.
• Experience with SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, and FCAW welding techniques.
• Ability to operate welding equipment and tools.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality welds.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
• Great communication and teamwork skills.

• 4” Sch10 Stainless Steel Tig (Must PASS Visual)


• All welded in 6G position

The typical hourly rate for this position is $38.00 to $39.00 based on experience
