Qualifications

• 5+ years maintaining industrial equipment or similar mechanical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical schematics and blueprints.
• Welding and fabrication skills for repairs or modifications.
• Strong analytical skills for diagnosing mechanical issues quickly.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems in mill equipment.
• Commitment to electrical safety and collaboration with electricians.

Responsibilities

• Review production safety and quality practices.
• Provide day-to-day maintenance support and troubleshooting for machinery and lines.
• Carry out preventive maintenance tasks and diagnostic activities.
• Maintain detailed maintenance records, reports, and parts inventories.
• Communicate with departments to ensure equipment operates efficiently.
• Work with operators to enhance equipment performance.
• Uphold safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Educate maintenance and operations staff on safety and maintenance processes.
• Recommend improvements to strengthen continuous improvement efforts.
• Test equipment performance and suggest modifications.
• Install, maintain, repair, upgrade, and troubleshoot mill machinery and supporting equipment.
