Job summary

Brown & Root Industrial Services is seeking a Long Term Maintenance Helper in Missouri to install, align, and service machinery per blueprints and layouts. The role requires reading schematics and using hand and power tools to assemble, foundation, and align equipment.

Responsibilities include reading drawings, dismantling and moving machinery with hoists, installing conveyors, constructing foundations, and performing routine lubrications and cleanings per safety rules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with field experience in the trade.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions and drawings.
• Willingness to work at heights and under safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Reads and interprets blueprints, layout plans, manuals, and drawings to determine work procedures.
• Dismantles machines using hand tools and moves equipment with hoists or dollies.
• Assembles and installs equipment such as conveyors and tram rails using cranes and power tools.
• Constructs foundations for machines using wood, cement, and steel.
• Aligns machines using hoists, jacks, and measuring tools; knowledge of optical and laser alignment.
