Job summary

Sonoco Horsham, PA is seeking a Millwright to install, repair and maintain all types of production machinery. This role requires reading blueprints, following SOPs, and adhering to safety policies. Work is 1st shift with overtime; a $1500 sign-on bonus is offered.

The candidate should have 5–7 years in related work, a high school diploma or GED, and strong mechanical aptitude to support continuous operations in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• You have broad training in a related field usually acquired through high school education, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 5–7 years of job-related experience.

Responsibilities

• Complies with safety practices and procedures as specified by plant and corporate directives.
• Troubleshoots, repairs, installs, erects, moves or dismantles machinery and production equipment.
• Inspects site and equipment; analyzes blueprints; estimates loads and required support equipment.
• Fabricates sheet metal and structural units; sets units in place.
• Performs preventative maintenance for building and equipment and cleans work areas.
• Communicates information to the next shift and follows SOPs.
