Job summary

Modine Manufacturing Company is seeking a skilled Millwright to dismantle machinery, transfer equipment, interpret blueprints and install equipment at our facility. You will apply hydraulic, belt, motor and related knowledge to keep systems running and improve reliability.

Teamwork is essential as you troubleshoot, perform preventive maintenance, and repair with minimal supervision while adhering to safety and environmental policies in a fast-paced industrial setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience as a millwright or similar.
• In-depth knowledge of equipment and machinery.
• Good communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Must be able to work well in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Trouble shoots maintenance problems involving electrical, structural, plumbing and equipment repair or replacement.
• Help maintain equipment parts lists and perform daily PMs on equipment.
• Assist in set-up of equipment as needed.
• Adheres to company safety, environmental and property protection policies and complies with appropriate codes on work performed.
• Occasional heavy lifting, pulling, pushing, stooping, climbing, reaching, bending and working in awkward positions are required.
• May be exposed to accumulations of dirt and grease, smoke, heat and fumes.
