Job summary

Austin Industries, Inc. is seeking a Millwright/Civil Construction Leadman for the Decatur, IL location with per diem support. The role covers millwright, civil carpenter, and related craft responsibilities in a fast-paced construction setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of journeyman-level experience in Millwright, Civil Carpenter, Industrial Maintenance, Construction, or related craft disciplines.
• NCCER Millwright or Carpenter certifications preferred.
• TWIC Card required; valid government-issued ID required.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications, layouts, and work instructions to determine work requirements.
• Plan and execute work activities in accordance with project requirements, procedures, and safety standards.
• Coordinate with supervision and other crafts to complete work safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records and provide progress updates as required.
