Wood is seeking a Millwright Apprentice in Port Lavaca, TX to support piping systems installation and maintenance for steam and hot water facilities. The role requires following established guidelines and working under close supervision.

As an apprentice, you will layout, fabricate, assemble, install and maintain piping systems, pipe supports, fixtures, and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, gaining hands-on experience in a critical industrial setting.

Qualificações

• Typically, 3 years and above documented field experience in chosen craft discipline.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions and documents.
• Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in the field.

Responsabilidades

• Layout, fabricate, assemble, install and maintain piping systems, pipe supports, fixtures, and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment for steam and hot water systems.
• Follow pre-established guidelines and instructions to perform the job; work under immediate supervision.

Wood is currently sourcing Millwright Apprentice in Port Lavaca, TX. Authorization to work lawfully in the US without sponsorship from Wood is required.

Responsibilities

Lays out, fabricates, assembles, installs and maintains piping systems, pipe supports, fixtures, and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment for steam, hot water fixtures and equipment for steam, hot water, heating, cooling, lubricating, sprinkling and industrial production and processing systems. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision.

Qualifications

• Typically, 3 years and above documented field experience in chosen craft discipline with ability to read and interpret instructions and document, plan and perform work activities independently.
• May require a high school diploma or its equivalent with previous years of experience in the field or in a related area.
• Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
