Job summary

The DeLong Co., Inc. in Clinton, WI is seeking a Millwright to support our grain elevator and agronomy facilities. You will perform welding repairs, install new structures, and maintain critical equipment to keep operations safe and efficient.

Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, safety improvements, and CMMS logging. Travel up to 75% and occasional extended hours are required; prior grain handling experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years welding experience (stick and MIG).
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to install bearings, motors, and gearboxes.
• 2+ years of experience operating heavy machinery (skid loaders, telehandlers).
• Ability to read blueprints, tape measures, and other measuring devices.
• Prior grain handling experience preferred, but not required.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Trade school certificate preferred.
• Ability to obtain DNSF, CSX, NCCCO, and TWIC certifications if required.

Brief Description

For over 100 years, The DeLong Co., Inc. has provided information, products, and services to the farming industry. We're hiring a Millwright based out of our Clinton, WI location to support our grain elevator and agronomy facilities.

About The Role

This position supports our elevators and agronomy locations with repairs, preventative maintenance, and new construction projects — keeping our critical grain handling and processing equipment running safely and efficiently.

What You'll Do

• Weld repairs on existing structures and equipment

Requirements

What We're Looking For

Additional Requirements

• Ability to travel up to 75% of the time, including overnight stays
• Ability to work extended hours, including some weekends
• Valid driver's license and proof of insurance
• Ability to stand, bend, and reach for 8 hours at a time
• Ability to climb up to 200'
• Ability to work in confined spaces
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. overhead, repeatedly
• Ability to work outdoors year-round in a sometimes dusty environment
