Job summary

The DeLong Co., Inc. in Clinton, WI is seeking a Millwright to support our grain elevator and agronomy facilities. The role focuses on repairs, maintenance, and new construction to keep critical equipment running safely and efficiently.

You will perform welding, install structures, and conduct preventative maintenance while coordinating with OSHA and outside consultants on project work. This is a full-time, non-exempt position requiring travel up to 75% and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of welding experience (stick and MIG).
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to install bearings, motors, and gearboxes.
• 2+ years of experience operating heavy machinery (skid loaders, telehandlers, etc.).
• Ability to read blueprints, tape measures, and other measuring devices.
• Prior grain handling experience preferred, but not required.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain DNSF, CSX, NCCCO, and TWIC certifications if required.

Responsibilities

For over 100 years, The DeLong Co., Inc. has provided information, products, and services to the farming industry. We're hiring a Millwright based out of our Clinton, WI location to support our grain elevator and agronomy facilities.

About the Role

This position supports our elevators and agronomy locations with repairs, preventative maintenance, and new construction projects — keeping our critical grain handling and processing equipment running safely and efficiently.

What You'll Do

• Weld repairs on existing structures and equipment
• Install new structures and equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance — greasing, checking tension, checking oil levels
• Identify and implement safety improvements
• Log completed work in our online CMMS
• Collaborate with OSHA and outside consultants on project management

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of welding experience (stick and MIG)
