Job summary

West Fraser in Leola, AR is seeking a Millwright to repair and maintain industrial equipment, read drawings, and operate maintenance systems.

You will work rotating shifts, demonstrate safety, and contribute to a culture that promotes from within with strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have minimum 3 years verifiable work experience as a Millwright preferred.
• Welding experience preferred.
• Cutting Torch experience (Oxygen/Acetylene) preferred.
• Must be able to work rotating shifts.
• Pre-employment screening and background checks required.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain industrial equipment conveying systems and major machine centers.
• Read and understand drawings and printed instructions.
• Work safely under high-pressure situations.
• Understand preventive maintenance.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
• Maintain good communication and documentation.

What you will do:

• Repair and maintain industrial equipment conveying systems, and major machine centers.
• Able to read and understand drawings and printed instructions.
• Must be a self-starter who can work safely under high-pressure situations.
• Understanding of preventive maintenance
• Hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical troubleshooting
• Good communication and documentation skills
• Safe work habits
• Use of hand and power tools
• Operation of shop and maintenance related equipment
• Understanding proper alignments of process equipment
• Knowledge of rigging and material handling

What you will need:

• Must have High School Diploma or GED
• Must have minimum 3 years verifiable work experience as a Millwright preferred.
• Must have welding experience preferred.
• Must have cutting Torch experience (Oxygen/Acetylene) preferred.
• Must be able to work rotating shifts.
• Must successfully complete a skills assessment, pre-employment drug screen, physical, reference check, and background check.
