Job summary

Cleveland-Cliffs Ishpeming facility is seeking a Maintenance Technician to inspect, troubleshoot, dismantle and assemble plant machinery at Ishpeming, MI. The role requires reading and following safety instructions, wearing PPE, and performing welding and heat-cutting tasks.

Availability for rotating shifts, nights, weekends, and overtime is expected. Responsibilities include maintaining and repairing equipment, cutting with torches, and performing air arc cutting, with additional duties as

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2-year degree in Industrial Maintenance or related field or at least 2 years of directly related full-time work experience is required
• Have the ability to read, understand and follow safety information, operating instructions and procedure manuals
• Work safely and wear appropriate personal protective equipment
• Must be willing to work rotating shifts, nights, weekends and holidays
• Must be willing to work overtime
