Job summary

Cleveland-Cliffs Inc. is seeking Industrial Electricians for our Tilden Mine operations in Ishpeming, Michigan. Electricians will inspect, repair, install, and wire electrical apparatuses, devices, and circuits across plant and mining areas.

Responsibilities include preventive and reactive maintenance, troubleshooting motors/transformers/circuits, and performing other duties as assigned. Rotating shifts—including nights, weekends, and holidays—are required with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or 2+ years of related work experience.
• Ability to read, understand and follow safety information and operating manuals.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Cleveland-Cliffs has immediate openings forIndustrial Electricians at our Tilden Mine operations located in Ishpeming, Michigan. Industrial Electricians are responsible for inspecting, repairing, installing and wiring all electrical apparatuses, devices, and circuits in the plant or mining areas.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering Technologyor other related field or at least 2 years of directly related full-time work experience is required

• Have the ability to read, understand and follow safety information, operating instructions and procedure manuals

• Work safely and wear appropriate personal protective equipment

• Must be willing to work rotating shifts including, nights, weekends and holidays

• Must be willing to work overtime

Preferred Qualifications:

• Preference for candidates with working knowledge in electrical maintenance in an industrial or mining environment.
