Sulzer is seeking a skilled Millwright to install, maintain, and repair rotating equipment in Belle Chasse, LA. You will disassemble and reassemble compressors, turbines, gearboxes, and expanders, using a range of tools. The position requires travel, a valid license, and TWIC eligibility.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to obtain TWIC credential.
• Strong verbal and written communication with diverse teams.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to learn rotating equipment service.
• Willingness to travel.
• Experience with driven equipment repair (generators, compressors, pumps).
• Experience with alignments.

Responsabilités

• Disassemble, inspect, and assemble compressors, turbines, gearboxes, expanders and other rotating equipment.
• Assemble machines as instructed by Supervisor.
• Possess a sufficient quantity of professional hand tools to perform daily assignments.
• Continuously upgrade knowledge of projects, materials and procedures including safety policies.
• Report safety issues to line manager.
• Support LEAN and EHS management system and follow safety, health and environmental policies.
