Job summary

PARR is seeking a Millworks Door Builder to accurately assemble interior doors in a fast-paced warehouse setting. You will transfer materials to shipping staging and ensure quality before shipping, while maintaining a safe, organized work area.

The role requires ability to lift heavy items, read a tape measure, and operate necessary tools. You will work with a team, report to management, and contribute to safety initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Ability to speak, write, and read English required.
  • Ability to read a tape measure.
  • Must be able to move heavy objects in a warehouse.
  • Must be able to operate machines and tools needed to complete door orders.
  • Ability to work independently in a busy environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

  • Build interior doors accurately, safely, and efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse.
  • Transfer materials from the Interior Door Department to Shipping staging area.
  • Verify material quality and backorders; report needs to management.
  • Move products within the warehouse; use forklift if needed.
  • Keep work area clean and organized; follow safety protocols.
  • Assist in safety committee and participate as required.
  • Perform related duties as assigned.

Our customers and community members know that they can rely on us for Legendary Service and quality products.Pay:$22.10-$26.35 hourly.The Millworks Door Builder is responsible for the accurate building of interior doors for customer orders. They will also be responsible for transferring the material from the Interior Door Department to the Shipping Department staging area while acting in a safe and professional manner.This position reports directly to the Manager and works closely with the warehouse team.Duties and ResponsibilitiesBuilding doors accurately, safely, and professionally in a fast-paced environmentEnsuring the quality of material before shippingVerify material backordersInform management and purchasing agent of material needsMoving product within the warehouse, with a forklift if neededPromptly report all accidents/incidentsSit as member of the safety committee as requestedKeep area clean and organizedPerform other related duties as assignedQualificationsAbility to speak, write, and read English requiredAbility to read a tape measureMust be able to be mobile in warehouseMust be able to move heavy awkward objects in warehouseMust be able to operate all machines and tools necessary to complete door ordersAble to listen to and follow instructionsAbility to work independentlyAbility to work amidst a busy work environmentShoes that are puncture resistant, slip resistant, and made of leather or composite material requiredInterpersonal SkillsAbility to work cordially, professionally, diplomatically, and with a high level of customer service in a dynamic environmentDemonstrate sound judgment in dealing with sensitive business matters with internal and external customers of all typesAbility and willingness to identify processes, tools, and/or procedures that may be improved upon to improve the workplace and outcomes for our customersAbility to communicate with all levels of management and employees at a high skill level and speak effectively in front of groups.
