Job summary

PARR is seeking a Lumber Sales Coordinator to support the sales team by creating quotes, processing orders, and coordinating material shipments to customers in the residential construction market.

You will interact with multiple departments and customers, ensuring accurate orders, timely deliveries, and strong customer service. This role requires robust communication skills and familiarity with building materials.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of building materials or construction industry is required.

Our customers and community members know that they can rely on us for Legendary Service and quality products.Pay: $23.27-$25.51 hourlyPARR’s Lumber Sales Coordinator executes all aspects of our sales call process and strategies, facilitating and coordinating business activities of accounts and executing PARR sales initiatives. Their primary focus is supporting the sales team by creating quotes, processing orders, and helping to manage construction schedules. The Lumber Sales Coordinator receives daily direction from Lumber Outside Sales Person on the team and reports to the Division Sales Manager. Interacts daily with General Managers and both internal and external customers.Interacts regularly with corporate employees (Central Purchasing Department, Account Management Team, IT Department, Window Sales, Millwork Sales, Truss Sales). Interacts regularly with vendor representatives and industry associates.Duties and ResponsibilitiesEstablish and maintains professional relationships with customersCommunicates with wide number of customers in Residential Construction industry, and helps to sell and manages the timely flow of building materials to their jobsiteExpertly uses, promotes & facilitates PARR Bridge StrategyProactively set, reach for, and meet (or exceed) personal sales and profit goalsPrimary player in deepening customer relationship and scheduling timely material shipments – ensuring account profitability as well as customer satisfaction & loyaltyAbility to sell on overall quality, value, and service, rather than pricePrecisely and efficiently manage one’s time and prioritize workflow in fast-paced environmentCommunicates with dispatch to ensure that they are not overpromising deliveries to customersSends pictures of returns to dispatch with request for pickupMaintains customer profiles in Outlook or CRM to include full name, company name, title, office number, cell number, email, and matrixMaintains cleanliness of workspaceFollows best practices in order entry, setting up deliveries, and all aspects of jobWalks customer to product in storeIntroduces himself/herself to customer and uses customer’s name when possibleManages their open orders to ensure orders are being invoiced in a timely manner or deletedAccurately takes in plans and submits details to the MES and/or EWPUses DDMS to ensure customer satisfactionFollows SPC guidelines and proper GP%Completes PO’s on
