Job summary

PARR is seeking a Millworks Door Builder to accurately construct interior doors for customer orders and to transfer materials to the Shipping Department while maintaining safety and efficiency. You will collaborate closely with the warehouse team and report to the Manager, ensuring high-quality workmanship.

The role emphasizes reading measurements, operating necessary tools, and adhering to safety standards in a busy warehouse environment.

Job description

PARR is the total source for homebuilding supplies, solutions, and services. We focus on supplying building materials and solutions to professional home builders of all sizes including custom builders, large production builders, and multifamily builders. Our customers and community members know that they can rely on us for Legendary Service and quality products. Pay:$22.10-$26.35 hourly.

The Millworks Door Builder is responsible for the accurate building of interior doors for customer orders. They will also be responsible for transferring the material from the Interior Door Department to the Shipping Department staging area while acting in a safe and professional manner. This position reports directly to the Manager and works closely with the warehouse team.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Building doors accurately, safely, and professionally in a fast-paced environment
  • Ensuring the quality of material before shipping
  • Verify material backorders
  • Inform management and purchasing agent of material needs
  • Moving product within the warehouse, with a forklift if needed
  • Promptly report all accidents/incidents
  • Sit as member of the safety committee as requested
  • Keep area clean and organized
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Ability to speak, write, and read English required

  • Shoes that are puncture resistant, slip resistant, and made of leather or composite material required

Working Conditions The Millworks Door Builder primarily works in a warehouse environment.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time
  • Lift up to 100 pounds, and lift, push or pull 50+ pounds frequently
  • Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Local travel may be required
  • Ability to utilize all appropriate safety equipment
