Job summary

Jimmy Jazz seeks a warehouse associate to load, unload, and store lumberyard materials, ensuring accurate handling for delivery readiness. You will support millwork operations, keep work areas clean, and assist with customer inquiries in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include operating a forklift, maintaining inventory, and following safety policies while delivering reliable service to customers.

Qualifications

• Able to perform basic math, read and interpret orders, and complete forms accurately.
• Strong verbal and written communication for customers and coworkers.
• Knowledge of safe lifting techniques for materials handling.
• Familiarity with building materials and proper storage.

Responsibilities

• Operate a lift truck to load and unload delivery vehicles as directed by the supervisor.
• Store materials in designated locations within the lumberyard, ensuring organization and safety.
• Assist with deliveries and provide assistance to customers in locating materials.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area at all times.
• Complete reports such as orders filled and forklift inspections.
