Job summary

Sunpro in Cedar City, UT is seeking a Millwork Technician to fabricate interior and exterior doors to customer specifications and company standards. The role reports to the Operations Manager and participates as part of a high‑performance production team.

You will visualize and uphold the company vision, collaborate with production teams to improve value streams, and operate door fabrication equipment safely and accurately. A strong safety mindset and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 2–3 years experience in a relevant field.
• Experience in door fabrication or manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to read measurements and blueprints.
• Strong safety and quality focus.

Responsibilities

• Visualize, fulfil, and implement the company vision and core values.
• Work with production teams to improve value streams.
• Fabricate exterior and interior residential doors in accordance with customer requirements and Company standards.
• Operate appropriate equipment to machine and manufacture doors according to customer specifications.
• Maintain a safe working environment, identifying and correcting potential safety concerns and hazards.
• Operate equipment according to specification and in alignment with designated safety standards.
• Assist customers and sales team as needed.
• Hang/Install doors, etc., as needed.
• Maintain a clean working environment.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures as outlined in the employee handbook, etc.
• Perform other duties as required.

FUNCTION:Fabricate interior and exterior doors in accordance to customer specifications and Company standards.

REPORTING TO: Operations Manager

KEY ACTIVITIES:

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Physical Work Requirements - Heavy: lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Repetitive motion associated with operating manufacturing equipment.
• Frequent bending, standing, lifting, and ongoing physical activity.
