Sunpro in Idaho Falls, Idaho is seeking a Millwork Technician to fabricate interior and exterior doors to customer specifications in a fast-paced production setting.

You will operate manufacturing equipment, collaborate with production teams, and support the sales team while maintaining a safe, clean work environment and adhering to company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 2-3 years experience in a relevant field.
• Strong math and measurement skills.

Responsibilities

• Visualize, fulfil, and implement the company vision and core values.
• Work with production teams to improve value streams.
• Fabricate exterior and interior residential doors in accordance with customer requirements and Company standards.
• Operate equipment to machine and manufacture doors according to customer specifications.
• Maintain a safe working environment and identify potential safety hazards.
• Hang/Install doors and assist customers and sales team as needed.

JOB TITLE:Millwork Technician

JOB LOCATION: Idaho Falls, Idaho

FUNCTION: Fabricate interior and exterior doors in accordance to customer specifications and Company standards.

KEY ACTIVITIES:

• Visualize, fulfil, and implement the company vision and core values.
• Work with production teams to improve value streams.
• Fabricate exterior and interior residential doors in accordance with customer requirements and Company standards.
• Operate appropriate equipment to machine and manufacture doors according to customer specifications.
• Maintain a safe working environment, identifying and correcting potential safety concerns and hazards.
• Operate equipment according to specification and in alignment with designated safety standards.
• Assist customers and sales team as needed.
• Hang/Install doors, etc., as needed.
• Maintain a clean working environment.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures as outlined in the employee handbook, etc.
• Perform other duties as required.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Practical mathematic and measuring skills.
• Able to function effectively as part of a high-performance production team.
• Ability to achieve performance objectives in a time-sensitive and quality-centered environment.
• Demonstrate initiative and reliability with minimal supervision.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2-3 years experience in a relevant field.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Physical Work Requirements - Heavy: lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Repetitive motion associated with operating manufacturing equipment.
• Frequent bending, standing, lifting, and ongoing physical activity.
