Job summary

Qualifications

5 years of experience in purchasing and inventory control/management.
Millwork experience required.
Strong knowledge of the building material industry to support Supply Chain objectives.
Bachelor's degree preferred in related field.

Responsibilities

Place purchase orders for assigned product categories across US LBM divisions and Regions.
Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers to ensure cost-effective purchasing and timely availability.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with location leaders to avoid stockouts or overstocking.
Collaborate with location leaders and fulfillment manager on inventory-related issues, discrepancies, and costing.
Communicate with suppliers regarding adjustments, incorrect materials, or deliveries and resolve issues
Maintain daily communications with US LBM divisions/markets related to inventory and inbound shipments.
