Job summary

Woodgrain in Lexington, NC is seeking a Millwork Pro Lead for the day shift. This hourly full-time role partners with management to optimize daily operations in the Exterior department and ensure on-time production.

You will reallocate resources, help develop staff, monitor performance, and uphold safety and quality standards. Previous forklift and warehouse experience is preferred, with strong organizational and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years of forklift experience preferred.
• 1-3 years of warehouse experience preferred.
• Strong time management and organizational skills (reliable attendance is required)
• Solid problem-solving abilities
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with management to forecast workload and set daily performance goals
• Assist in allocating and adjusting staffing, equipment, and time to meet operational objectives
• Support recruitment and retention of employees capable of meeting performance expectations
• Assist in training employees on proper task completion and safe work practices
• Monitor team progress and coach employees to achieve established goals
• Participate in evaluating individual and team performance, providing recognition and corrective feedback as appropriate
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment

Schedule: Mon-Fri 5 am to 1:30 pm (OT when necessary)

Position Summary
