Job summary

Custom Millwork & Display, a midwest-based manufacturer of custom architectural millwork and cabinetry, is seeking an experienced, well-organized Custom Millworker to join our team in person.

You will measure, mark, cut, assemble and finish precision pieces, working from blueprints and work orders. Candidates should have 7 years of millwork/woodworking experience, strong tool skills, and a commitment to safety in a collaborative shop environment. We offer a 401(k) and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Millwork experience: 7 years or more (required).
• Experience measuring, marking, and verifying dimensions from blueprints/work orders.
• Proficient use of hand and power tools.
• Strong attention to detail and safety.

Responsibilities

• Measure and mark materials to verify dimensions.
• Communicate discrepancies and inconsistencies in materials or work orders.
• Establish specifications of materials to be constructed or repaired and plan methods for shaping and assembling per blueprints.
• Identify and report any defective materials or questionable conditions.
• Maintain the work area and equipment in clean, orderly condition.
• Wear PPE correctly and safely and follow all safety regulations.

Essential Functions

• Measure and mark materials to verify dimensions.
• Communicate any discrepancies andinconsistencies of material or work order

Physical Requirements

• Regularly require the ability to sit, stand, bend, reach and lift a minimum of 70 pounds.
