Job summary

Holmes Building Materials LLC in Baton Rouge is seeking a skilled millwork worker to build window and door units for homes and businesses. The role is full time, Monday through Friday with steady hours and no call-offs.

You will work in our millwork shop, reading tape measures, using power and hand tools, and ensuring accuracy with modern woodwork equipment. Background check and drug screen are required.

Qualifications

• Must have carpentry know-how and experience including reading a tape measure to the 1/16th
• Power tool and hand tool experience (including table saw, miter saw, nail gun, cordless drill and more)
• Knowledge of modern woodwork shop and the equipment
• Basic carpentry knowledge of how to create custom millwork products for the South Louisiana housing market

Fast paced manufacturing and production of door and window units at a company that has been a staple in Baton Rouge building supply for over 70 years. You would work in our millwork shop building window and door units for installation in homes and businesses. The job is full time, Monday - Friday with steady hours and no call-offs.
