Woodgrain is seeking an Assembly I to join a growing team in Taunton, MA. The role involves assembling millwork products, operating cutting and shaping machinery, and preparing items for shipment with attention to quality and accuracy.

You will inspect finished work, repair or disassemble defective pieces for resale, and perform routine tool maintenance. A high school diploma or GED with related experience is required, with forklift certification preferred where applicable.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED and one to two years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos; ability to write correspondence and present information.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
• Might require forklift certification, depending upon branch requirements.
• Ability to solve practical problems and interpret various instructions and standards.

Responsabilités

• Assemble components of the job, machining or assembling various millwork products such as exterior and interior door units.
• Operate machinery that modifies the product (e.g., chop saws).
• Prepare the product for shipment by applying casing, sleeves, labels, etc.
