Woodgrain is hiring an Assembler I to join its manufacturing team in Washington. You will assemble millwork products, operate chop and table saws, and inspect product quality throughout the process.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 1–2 years of related experience; forklift certification may be needed depending on location. Woodgrain emphasizes safety and teamwork in a previously established, drug-free workplace.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED and 1–2 years related experience or equivalent
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals
• Forklift certification may be required depending on branch requirements

Responsibilities

• Assembling components of millwork products such as exterior and interior door units
• Operating machinery that modifies the product (e.g., chop saws)
• Preparing the product for shipment by applying casing, sleeves, labels, etc.
• Inspecting the overall quality and accuracy of assembled product throughout the assembly process
• Repairing and disassembling returned or defective millwork to prepare it for resale or return to stock
• Performing routine maintenance on tools, cleaning, oiling, calibrating machines, and notifying supervisor of issues
