Job summary

The Middlesex Corporation is seeking a Milling Grounds Person to assist the Milling Machine Operator with milling operations, site prep, grade control, and safety. The role supports a team focused on quality and efficiency in asphalt milling projects in Central Florida.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years milling experience, a CDL license, strong communication skills, and a commitment to safety and teamwork. Full-time position with comprehensive benefits and on-site work.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years Milling experience.
• Safety and quality orientated.

Responsibilities

• Comply with Safety policies and procedures; report accidents and near misses.
• Maintain a safe work environment per Middlesex policies.
• Be on site at start time and attend daily huddle.
• Identify hazards and assist in safety.
• Read and understand project specifications; assist with layout from drawings.
• Operate milling machine and understand automation and smart level.
• Maintain equipment, document conditions, and report issues.
