Job summary

mCubed Staffing, LLC is seeking an experienced NC Programmer to design, validate, and refine Siemens NX programs for lathe-based manufacturing in Pontiac, MI. You will validate through simulation, run prove-outs, and collaborate with design engineers to enhance manufacturability.

The role requires a lathe-first mindset with 3–5 years of lathe programming experience, familiarity with milling is welcomed, and U.S. citizenship is required. 1st shift, full-time, on-site production environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 5 years of NC programming in an engineering/manufacturing environment.
• Ability to produce clear, process-related work instructions.
• Foundational knowledge of workholding, cutting tool selection, and gaging.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Create and optimize NC programs in Siemens NX for mill-turn machines, 2-axis lathes, and additional CNC lathes and mills.
• Validate NC programs through virtual machine simulation.
• Run on-machine prove-outs and implement optimizations.
• Partner with design engineers to improve manufacturability.
• Participate in equipment installation, runoff, and production startup.
• Perform other related duties as needed

Build the Programs that Power Performance

Join us on first shift and help drive precision manufacturing for gas turbine components. You’ll design, validate, and refine NC programs that keep quality high and cycle times low.

Schedule

• 1st Shift - 8 hour shifts with a start time between 6:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m.

What You’ll Do

• Create and optimize NC programs in Siemens NX for mill-turn machines, 2-axis lathes, and additional CNC lathes and mills
• Validate NC programs through virtual machine simulation
• Run on-machine prove-outs and implement optimizations
• Partner with design engineers to improve manufacturability
• Participate in equipment installation, runoff, and production startup
• Perform other related duties as needed

What We’re Looking For

• Lathe-first mindset: 3-5 years specifically in lathe programming (mill experience welcomed, lathe expertise required)
• CNC grinding experience preferred
• Experience with aerospace alloys and hardened steel alloys is a plus

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 5 years of experience developing NC programs in an engineering/manufacturing environment
• Ability to produce clear, process-related work instructions
• Foundational knowledge of workholding, cutting tool selection, and gaging
• Intermediate-advanced skills with Microsoft Office
