Job summary

ADM Mt. Vernon, IN is seeking a Mill Supervisor/Mill Technician II to oversee daily elevator operations, including loading, sampling, grading, blending, and storage of goods.

You will train hourly staff, uphold safety and GMP standards, and drive process improvements to meet operational objectives. Responsibilities include leading shift resources, ensuring safety with OSHA/EPA/DOT compliance, maintaining preventive maintenance, and coordinating with Plant Superintendent on schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; relevant experience acceptable.
• High School Diploma/GED with 2 years of on-the-job training.
• Technical Certification required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Executes plans according to the work schedule and prioritizes shift work.
• Ensures safety of all personnel following OSHA and company policies.
• Lead and train hourly employees in operations, safety, and maintenance.
• Develops employees and manages shift discipline and morale.
• Collaborates with facilities management to improve safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Maintains documentation and cost-saving ideas; analyzes maintenance schedules.
