Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; experience with truck scales preferred.
• Ability to adapt to change and maintain professional demeanor.
• Able to operate basic computer systems and log scalers.

Responsibilities

• Scale wood products and raw materials into the facility.
• Maintain scaler exception log report and ensure adherence to specifications.
• Enforce material specs and loads per safety standards.
• Serve as the first point of contact with truck drivers, vendors and contractors.
• Wear required PPE and report injuries or damage.
• Manage truck turnaround time and communicate operations impacts.
• Flexible schedules and possible overtime; weekends/holidays.
