Packaging Corporation in Alabama is seeking a process control engineer to support the mill's DCS operations, collaborating with operations to reduce cost, improve quality, and minimize process variation.

You will design, install, and provide ongoing support for DCS hardware and software, work with maintenance and operations on process improvements, and research new technologies to boost production.

Qualificações

• Engineering degree (electrical, chemical, or paper science preferred) or Technical Degree with three plus years manufacturing experience.
• Must be organized and able to execute job responsibilities and communicate effectively.
• Must be able to function and contribute within a team environment.

Responsabilidades

• Provides support throughout the mill and interfaces routinely with operations to optimize control systems to reduce cost, improve quality, and minimize process variation.
• Responsibilities will include design, installation, and ongoing support for mill DCS hardware and software, technical support for process improvement projects, and close alliance with operations and maintenance to ensure stable and capable processes.
• This position will also be responsible for researching, recommending, and implementing new technologies that will help reduce cost or increase production.
