Job summary

Ameristar Perimeter Security USA, an ASSA ABLOY branded company, is hiring a Mill Operator Trainee in Tulsa, OK. This 2nd shift role runs Monday through Thursday, 3:00pm to 1:30am, with overtime as needed.

You will be responsible for operating the mill, maintaining equipment and ensuring continuous production. Qualifications include a High School diploma or GED, experience with measurement tools, setting up equipment controllers, roll tooling and die changes, and basic maintenance tasks.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required, ability to read blueprints and carry out instructions.
• Experience with measuring devices and machining tools is essential.
• Must be able to navigate, set up controllers, and perform parts programming.

Responsibilities

• Operate mill to maintain continuous production during shift.
• Perform visual and manual quality checks on finished products.
• Maintain clean, safe, organized work area (5S) and document downtime.
• Coordinate daily/weekly activities with supervisor and maintenance teams.

# Mill Operator TraineeAmeristar Perimeter Security USA, an ASSA ABLOY branded company, is looking for a Mill Op Trainee. This position will be responsible for the roll from operations and equipment of the mill to insure continuous operation during the shift. **This is a 2nd shift position, Monday - Thursday, 3:00pm - 1:30am. Overtime as required.**Qualifications: To perform this job sucessfully, an individual must meet expecations of each essential duty. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and abillities required***Education:**** High School or GED Equivalent***Experience:**** *Experience:* + Experience in using special measuring devices, calipers, tape measure. + Must be able to navigate, set up equipment controller for proper operation and parts programming. + Roll Tooling experience with set ups and change over. + Change out press dies, cut off jaws, blades, and refill oil levels of equipment. + Demonstrate ability to meet negotiated time frames + Good Mechanical Aptitude + Forklift and overhead crane certification + Experience with Robot programming***Other:**** Must be able to document down time through seamless reporting system to drive KPI tracking* Good communication skills with coworkers to insure continuous flow of the mill and material handler for proper tagging of product.* Ability to think and react to schedule changes and conditions on the mill.
