Contech's Raleigh, North Carolina plant is seeking a Mill Operator Trainee to learn and perform core mill operations, including moving coils with cranes and forklifts, threading coils through processes, and operating mill controls.

You will conduct QA checks and assist with routine maintenance while gaining hands-on experience in a structured training program designed to develop your skills for career advancement.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Hel-Cor Mill Certification must be completed within 1 year of hire.
• Forklift certification is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Operates overhead cranes, coil handlers or forklifts to move coil from storage to machine area.
• Threads in-coming coils through mill processes.
• Operates mill components using manual and automatic control on control panel.
• Butt welds and grinds strip ends manually.
• Performs and records QA check measurements as per Quality Manual.
• Performs equipment setup, routine mechanical maintenance, and repairs to all mill process equipment.

About the Role

About You

We Require:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• The ability to complete & pass the Hel-Cor Mill Certification within 1-year of hire.
• Certification on forklift operation is preferred.
