Contech Engineered Solutions in Pinellas Park, FL is seeking a Mill Operator Trainee to join our plant team. You will learn to operate mill equipment, handle coils, run controls, and support QA checks as part of our ramped training program.

We provide on-the-job training, benefits, and opportunities for advancement. Applicants should have a high school diploma and be willing to obtain Hel-Cor certification within a year; forklift certification is preferred.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to complete Hel-Cor Mill Certification within 1 year of hire.
• Forklift operation certification is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Operate overhead cranes, coil handlers or forklifts to move coil from storage to machine area.
• Thread in-coming coils through mill processes.
• Operate mill components using manual and automatic control on control panel.
• Butt welds and grinds strip ends manually.
• Performs and records QA check measurements per Quality Manual.
• Perform equipment setup and routine mechanical maintenance on mill equipment.

We are looking for a MILL OPERATOR TRAINEE to join our Pinellas Park plant. As a Mill Operator Trainee with Contech you will contribute to America’s essential infrastructure including drainage systems, pipe, bridges and structures, and stormwater management.

About the Role

• Operates overhead cranes, coil handlers or forklifts to move coil from storage to machine area.
• Threads in-coming coils through mill processes.
• Operates mill components using manual and automatic control on control panel.
• Butt welds and grinds strip ends manually.
• Performs and records all QA check measurements required by the Quality Manual on product being produced.
• Performs equipment setup, routine mechanical maintenance, and repairs to all mill process equipment.

We Require:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• The ability to complete & pass the Hel-Cor Mill Certification within 1-year of hire.
• Certification on forklift operation is preferred.
