Job summary

Eagle Mine, LLC is seeking an experienced operator to manage crushing equipment and associated mobile machinery on site in Pennsylvania. The role emphasizes safe operation, adherence to permits, and proactive hazard checks.

Responsibilities include operating crushers and DCS controls, loading rail cars, performing minor maintenance, and maintaining a clean, safe work site. Prior experience with crushers and concentrators is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have demonstrated ability to operate crushing equipment and related mobile equipment.
• Experience with conveyors, dust control, and basic maintenance is desirable.

• Uses shovels, hoses, slings and hand tools to clean areas and perform minor maintenance.
• Operates end loaders, forklifts, rail car mover, overhead cranes, rock breaker, and pickup trucks.
• Performs routine lubrication and maintenance; follows environmental permits.
• Completes daily hazard assessments and inspects work area for hazards.
• Inspects safety equipment and ensures proper operation of safety devices.

MAIN PURPOSE

Operates loaders, crushing equipment, dust collectors, conveyors, moves and loads rail cars, during operation.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES/ACTIVITIES

• Operates crushing system or loads rail cars with concentrate, practices good housekeeping
• Operates DCS system to start, stop, monitor, and adjust equipment for proper operation of the crushing equipment
• Uses shovels, hoses, slings, hand tools, to clean areas and performs minor maintenance
• Operates end loaders, forklifts, rail car mover, overhead cranes, rock breaker, and pick-up trucks
• Performs routine maintenance, including lubrication, of the crusher system and mobile equipment and operates within environmental permits
• Completes daily Pre-Task Hazard Assessments, daily inspects work area and corrects any potential hazards
• Inspects fire extinguishers, safety showers, and emergency lighting for proper operation
• Cleans working, storage and other areas as required
• May be required to train or assist in training of others
• Performs other duties as assigned

EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Previous crusher, concentrator, mobile equipment experiences preferred
