• Create and lead department CAPEX projects.
• Identify opportunities aligned with business goals and guide day-to-day operations.
• Collaborate with operators and supervisors to ensure SIC compliance and troubleshoot issues.
• Support long-term optimization and area improvement projects.
• Assist in shutdown planning with Maintenance and Reliability teams.

Job Summary:

The Process Engineer plays a critical role in the engineering technical support for designated production departments utilizing technical expertise to ensure smooth process operations. Evaluates, develops and implements technical strategy which supports designated production departments.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for maintaining Equipment documentation, SOP’s, Troubleshooting guides and training material

Create, develop, and leading department specific CAPEX Projects

Identifying opportunities consistent with the business goals and provides input and direction on the day-to-day operations.

Working with operators and supervisors daily to ensure the plant is operating with the Short Interval Controls (SIC) and helps them troubleshoot any problems.

Responsible for Supporting long-term optimization and problem solving by initiating and supporting area improvement projects.

Responsible for assisting in Shutdown planning. Assist Maintenance and Reliability Coordinator in defining the scope of shutdowns.

Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS - REQUIRED

Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical or related degree.

5 years of process engineering experience in a manufacturing setting.

QUALIFICATIONS - Preferred

Lean Manufacturing Certification

SAP Experience

Previous experience working in a food manufacturing facility
