Job summary

Five Rivers Cattle Feeding in Idaho is seeking a Mill Laborer to support daily mill operations, assist with housekeeping, and help with routine maintenance and repair tasks. You will work closely with mill staff to maintain safety standards and efficient process flow.

The position requires basic reading of safety rules and operating instructions, plus the ability to perform simple calculations and follow directions in a busy, loud work environment.

Qualifications

• Experience operating heavy equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers; ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.

Responsibilities

• Participates in preventative maintenance by assisting mill maintenance personnel in carrying out maintenance tasks.
• Works in various capacities when another employee is absent or as necessary (may include receiving, flaking, and loader operation).
• Participates in daily housekeeping, including cleaning and organizing millwork areas.
• Complies with applicable safety rules and policies.
