Job summary

Origin Mining Company, LLC is seeking a Mill Foreman to lead daily milling and flotation operations at the Mineral Park facility in Arizona. You will supervise crews, coordinate crushers, grinding, and tailings processes, and ensure safety standards and production targets are met.

The role requires strong technical leadership, decisive decision-making, and hands-on management of day-to-day operations in a demanding mining environment.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and supervision capabilities within a mining/processing facility.
• Extensive mining milling process knowledge, including crushing, grinding, flotation, and tailings systems.
• Commitment to safety culture and regulatory compliance.
• Effective communication to coordinate across crews and departments.
• Proven problem-solving and decision-making in fast-paced environments.
• Proficiency with basic production reporting tools and MS Office.”

Responsibilities

• Lead daily shift activities by assigning tasks, organizing crews, and ensuring operational readiness across milling and flotation circuits.
• Supervise and support mill operations including jaw crushers, cone crushers, grinding circuits, flotation, filter presses, and tailings management.
• Promote and enforce a strong safety culture by conducting safety meetings, addressing hazards, and ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and procedures.
• Monitor plant performance and production metrics, making real-time decisions to optimize throughput, recovery, and concentrate quality.
• Troubleshoot operational and equipment issues, coordinating with maintenance teams to minimize downtime and ensure timely repairs.
• Communicate effectively with crew members, listening to concerns, providing direction, and fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Apply critical thinking and sound judgment to resolve challenges while adhering to company policies and operational guidelines.
• Maintain accurate shift reports, production data, and logs using basic MS Office tools and plant systems.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, reliability, and operational excellence.
• Lead by example—demonstrating professionalism, accountability, and strong work ethic on the floor.
