Rocky Mountain Steel Mills is seeking skilled Mechanical Maintenance Technicians to support our maintenance activities in our steel manufacturing facilities.
This position is designed for individuals who have completed an apprenticeship or equivalent training in one of four maintenance crafts and who are committed to becoming skilled in all four crafts: Boilermaker, Millwright, Pipefitter, and Welder.
Mechanical Maintenance Technicians are responsible for the installation, repair, assembly, and dismantling of mechanical equipment throughout the mills. This includes working with gearboxes, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, pumps, seals, piping and valves, mechanical power transmission systems, couplings, shaft alignments, lubrication systems, overhead cranes, and other heavy industrial equipment.
Rocky Mountain Steel Mills is currently hiring for the following Mechanical Maintenance Technician levels: Mill Mechanical Technician – Trainee, Mill Mechanical Technician – Assistant, Mill Mechanical Technician – Standard. Note candidates will be placed at the appropriate level based on qualifications.
Compensation: $30.60 – $45.00 per hour Shift differential
