Job summary

Roseburg Forest Products is seeking Maintenance Technicians to safely perform general maintenance and repairs at the Roanoke Valley Lumber mill site.

Responsibilities include inspecting equipment, troubleshooting issues, planning repair work from manuals or drawings, and performing preventive maintenance to ensure reliable operation of mill systems. The role requires teamwork, strong safety practices, and the ability to work a 24/7 shift.

Qualifications

Consistent and predictable attendance.
Ability and willingness to cross-train into new jobs and skills.
Ability to work a manufacturing shift configuration (24/7).
Ability to follow instructions and interpret drawings.
Knowledge of maintenance practices repair.

Responsibilities

Work safely and effectively in a team environment.
Inspect and identify equipment or machines in need of repair.
Troubleshoot issues to determine necessary repairs or adjustments to improve operation.
Assist with planning repair work using drawings, equipment manuals or field research.
Perform precision repairs on mill equipment.
Perform preventive maintenance inspections and activities on mill equipment and building systems to ensure reliability.
Keep the mill facility clean and maintained.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
