Job summary

Rand Aerospace and Defense is seeking a Mill Machinist to operate and maintain Mazak CNC 5-axis mills, reading blueprints and programming based on prints and instructions. You will contribute to producing high-quality aerospace components with tight tolerances in a fast-paced environment.

Candidates should have 5-7 years of Mazak experience, familiarity with Mazatrol and G-code, and strong measurement skills using micrometers and bore gauges.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience with Mazak CNC 5 axis Mills.
• Programming and setup of CNC machines based on print requirements and written instructions.
• Documentation with attention to details and accuracy.
• Read and understand blue prints, specifications as well as written instructions.
• Able to hold tight tolerances.
• Experience in working with different types of materials.
• Use of measuring tools including micrometers, bore gauges, etc.
• You must be able to positively contribute to the team environment in terms of productivity, cooperation, data collection, and attitude.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain CNC milling machines and related equipment to produce high-quality parts.
• Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to determine machine setup.
• Program and set up machines based on prints and written instructions.
