Job summary

Graphic Packaging International is seeking a Mill Controller to lead the financial function for a paper mill site. You will ensure timely reporting, maintain internal controls, analyze financial impacts of operating decisions, and clearly present variances and results.

The role requires strong analytical skills, manufacturing finance experience, and leadership of the mill’s financial staff and purchasing function as part of the leadership team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a Business related field required; CPA, CMA or MBA preferred.
• 7-10+ years in an Accounting/ Finance role; Manufacturing experience strongly preferred
• Proven ability to drive P&L performance and autonomously lead the financial function for an operating site
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office Suite tools
• ERP systems experience required; SAP strongly preferred
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to collaborate and communicate across all levels and functions of the organization

Responsibilities

• Analyze month-end results (P&L and Balance Sheet) including variance analysis
• Develop month-end results package for Mill to present to Senior Management
• Provide monthly financial forecasts and analysis
• Provide key decision support to mill management
• Coordinate the mill annual budget process; data collection, analysis, consolidation with risk/opportunity review
• Develop and maintain financial controls in accordance with company policies and protect assets
