Job summary

TouchPoint Support Services is seeking a Milk Tech (Part-Time) to join the NICU team at Ascension St. Vincent in Indianapolis, IN.

The role supports dietary and nutritional care for neonatal patients and requires an Associates degree or current pursuit of a clinical healthcare degree. The position offers part-time shifts, with a focus on accurate data collection, menu planning, and adherence to nutrition policies.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in clinical healthcare or currently pursuing.
• One year hospital experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, EMR, and diet systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Dietitian with patient data collection, nutrition screening, and modified menu planning.
• Assist patients in completing menu selections.
• Follow the Diet Manual and Clinical Nutrition Policies & Procedures.
• Comply with regulatory standards including HIPAA and patient rights policies.
• Train and mentor patient services staff and interns.
• Participate in patient satisfaction programs and quality improvement initiatives.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Milk Tech (Part-Time) to join our NICU team with Touchpoint Support Services at Ascension St. Vincent in Indianapolis, IN .

Key Responsibilities

• Assists the Dietitian with patient data collection, nutrition screening, and modified menu planning
• Assists patients in completing menu selections
• Follows all guidelines as outlined within the Company Diet Manual and the Clinical Nutrition Policies & Procedures Manual
• Complies with all regulatory standards to include federal, state, and accrediting agencies, while adhering to facility confidentiality, HIPPA regulations, and patient rights policies
• Trains and mentor’s patient services staff and interns as applicable
• Participates in patient satisfaction programs, departmental meetings, and facility wide Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement programs

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or currently obtaining a degree in clinical healthcare
• One (1) year of hospital experience, preferred
• Possess the necessary skills to effectively utilize Microsoft office applications, electronic medical record & diet office systems, and nutrient analysis programming
