Agri-Mark/Cabot Creamery a full-time (40 hours/week) opening as a second shift (10am-6pm) Milk Receiver/Operator. $26.15 starting rate with 7-10% night differential added to base pay based on specific hours worked. Eligible for increases every 6 months for the first two years of employment.
This position works as part of a team, and individually to clear and unload the milk trucks that come into the plant. This includes proper sampling, temperature, laboratory analysis, unloading, loading, and storage of milk, cream, or other blends consistent with governmental regulation. Maintains facilities in a sanitary manner to include Clean In Place (CIP) washing of equipment and cleaning of walls, floors, ceilings and other non-contact surfaces. Training will be provided.
This is an active, physical job -- worker will make hose/pipe connections, work on a catwalk and environment may be hot in the summer and cold in the winter.
A key role within this position is to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a small team and drivers and provide guidance to trainees and co-workers. Ensuring accurate records are maintained properly is essential. Computer work is essential for this role. Must have demonstrated solid judgment abilities. Work flexibility is a must including the willingness to work overtime on occasion.
