Job summary

Producers Dairy in California is seeking a full-time Receiving/Coordinating Associate to manage tankers, perform antibiotic tests, uphold GMPs, and maintain sanitation logs. • Weighers and Samplers license and valid Class C driver's license.
• 3 years transport/coordinating experience, preferably in manufacturing/food processing with a transportation division.
• Must be a team player, must enjoy coaching/training and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Maintains plant receiving log and paperwork.
• Ensures milk tankers meet standards by performing an antibiotic test.
• Checks paperwork and wash tags of incoming tankers.
• Keeps receiving area clean at all times.
• Flushes raw receiving line using the inline pig daily or as needed.
• Follows GMPs and ensures compliance in the receiving area.
• Changes tanker filters daily; covers electrical panels when cleaning.
• Wears appropriate safety equipment when handling chemicals.
• Keeps hand wash station stocked and clean.
• Reports issues to supervisor and uses maintenance work orders.
• Cleans tankers raw line #2 and milk silos; washes tanks before 72 hour rules.
• Records cleaning and sanitizer concentrations in Master Sanitation Log.
• When receiving OJ concentrate, verify product meets specs by checking brix.
• Changes air blow filters in Receiving Room.
• Ensures recording charts are installed timely and correctly filled.
• Maintains professional dress, hygiene and appearance.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.

Essential Functions:

This position is responsible for:

• Maintains plant receiving log and all paperwork.
• Ensures all milk tankers meet Producers Dairy, state and federal standards by performing an antibiotic test on each tanker.
• Checks paperwork and wash tags of incoming tankers.
• Keeps receiving area clean at all times.
• Properly flushes raw receiving line, using the inline “pig” at the end of each receiving day or as necessary.
• Follows GMP’s and insures that all in the receiving area follow GMP’s.
• Changes tanker filters on a daily basis. Covers all electrical panels when cleaning around them.
• When working with chemicals, wears appropriate safety equipment.
• Keeps hand wash station clean at all times and supplied with soap and paper towels.
• Reports any equipment or other problems to a supervisor and makes use of maintenance work orders as needed.
• Properly cleans tankers raw line #2 and raw milk silos. Washes tanks prior to
  • 72 hour rules.
• Records cleaning and sanitizer concentrations in Master Sanitation Log.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Minimum:

• Must be a team player, must enjoy coaching/training and troubleshooting
