Job summary

Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis is seeking a Milk Lab Technician to prepare and safely handle human milk and specialized nutrition for neonatal and pediatric patients. This role supports care for our most vulnerable patients.

You will follow strict food safety standards, maintain documentation, operate milk lab equipment, and collaborate with nurses and dietitians to support patient care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Registration as a Dietetic Technician, Pharmacy Technician, or an Associate’s degree if hired after 7/3/2022.
• Must learn and master basic food safety, sanitation and clinical procedures.
• Must be able to operate designated equipment and learn computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, label, store, and deliver breast milk and specialized nutrition products.
• Follow strict food safety, sanitation, and infection control standards.
• Maintain accurate documentation and tracking.

Join Riley Hospital for Children as a Milk Lab Technician, where you’ll help prepare and safely handle human milk and specialized nutrition for neonatal and pediatric patients. This role plays an important part in supporting care for some of our most vulnerable patients.
