External Job Title: Milk Accounting Specialist

Position Summary

The Milk Accounting Specialist manages the producer payroll process for our clients to ensure the full payroll process is completed accurately and timely. This role reviews critical client data, processes client data, and reconciles discrepancies related to this procedure. As problems arise and are resolved, the Milk Accounting Specialist provides timely, accurate, and clear communication to clients and internal teams regarding discrepancies or other related milk accounting processing issues. This role ensures data is accurately processed while building strong relationships with clients through clear, accurate, and timely communication.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Execute the Ever.Ag client services producer payroll accurately and in a timely manner.
  2. Oversee data management associated with milk/component weights, resolution, or modifications within the Ever.Ag operating systems.
  3. Perform due diligence processes to ensure that data entry and processing functions are accurate.
  4. Validate that payments have been processed according to Federal Order regulations, including checking formulas, pricing, labs, and milk/component weights.
  5. Identify producer payroll issues or areas for improvement and conduct research to recommend solutions.
  6. Execute client change requests related to the Milk Accounting service.
  7. Support management in resolving client disputes related to the Milk Accounting service.
  8. Lead communication with all parties involved in the Milk Accounting process (Lab Work, Field Reps, Client Payroll Managers).
  9. Work with Federal Order Marketing Administrators on behalf of clients as needed.
  10. Maintain records for audit purposes.
  11. Complete importing/data entry of manifests into the Ever.Ag system.
  12. Import and match labs received from outside sources.
  13. Complete the balancing portion of the payroll process.
  14. Participate in customer account relationship development activities, including quarterly reviews and KPI presentations.
  15. Participate in sales processes for new business, product development, and testing activities.
  16. Collaborate with team members to establish and meet team and individual goals.
  17. Own and deliver pooling services to customers within 12 months.
  18. Participate in other assigned projects.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related fields from an accredited college or university.
  • 0-2 years of related data processing or accounting experience preferred.
  • Experience with Federal Order milk payment processes is a plus.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
